The Orenda Startup
The Orenda startup was forged out of necessity by several forward thinking people in the pool industry to avoid common problems during the pool startup process. Problems like plaster dust and super high pH. The Orenda startup method was designed to get ahead of these issues and pre treat the water with calcium and our chelating agent SC-1000, before it goes into the freshly surfaced pool.
The first few days of a new pool are critical to avoid headaches and problems in the future. The Start Up process gets your pool started in the right direction for years of enjoyment. We take care of all of the necessary processes including:
- Equipment setup and priming
- Initial filter break in
- Close monitoring of chemical levels
- Sweeping and brushing plaster
Our Start-Up spans over several days until all levels are stabilized and you are well on your way. After initial setup, our partner company, the Pool Surgeon will contacted to schedule a training session for you to continue the health and maintenance of your pool.
After Start-Up, you may want to continue with our Monthly or Weekly pool service. We would be happy to talk about your options when the process is complete.
